I am currently a senior researcher in the Autonomous Systems Lab at ETH Zürich. Before that I was a research fellow in the School of Computer Science at the University of Sydney. I completed my PhD at the University of Sydney in 2014 under the supervision of Fabio Ramos.

My research focuses on the intersection between machine learning and robotics with the goal to develop methods, techniques, and systems that allow an autonomous agent to build and maintain a representation of the ever changing world in which operates to achieve its given task. This means that much of my work is focused on model learning and decision making in a framework that accounts and reasons about uncertainties.
